Homeland Response Force Evaluation
During a bi-annual Homeland Response Force (HRF) validation exercise at Camp Roberts, Calif. on March 1, 2012, Tech. Sgt. Glenn Marte, assigned to the 144th Medical Group, 144th Fighter Wing, California Air National Guard, sets up the required equipment to test for the wet bulb measurement. The wet bulb measures the heat and humidity and allows the technician to determine the duration that the HRF members can perform their duties while in full chemical protective ensembles. Security Forces participate in Red Snow
Airmen from the 144th Security Forces and the 146 Security Forces set up tents during Operation Red Snow. During the multi-force, multi-agency exercise the two Security Forces squadrons will act as OPFORS, or oposing forces.
