In the Air National Guard, our Airmen hold civilian jobs or attend school while conducting their military training part time. That training occurs one weekend each month and an additional two weeks each year.
Like the Air Force Reserve, the Air National Guard is a reserve component of the U.S. Air Force, so our members may be periodically deployed alongside full-time service members to fulfill U.S. Air Force assignments worldwide.
In the Air National Guard, you not only serve your country, but also the community you call home. During times of emergency when our state needs the skills and resources that only the Guard can provide, we are always ready, always there. With career and leadership opportunities, healthcare and education benefits, and the freedom to choose how you serve, you're able to become your best in the Air National Guard.
