The Military and Family Readiness office is located in Wing building across from the FSS customer service/ ID card office. The Military & Family Readiness Manager provides programs and services to support sustained mission and family readiness. We provide services to strengthen personal and their families to meet the unique challenges of military life.

Air National Guard Resilience through Comprehensive Airman Fitness is to help our Airmen, National Guard civilians and family members become more resilient and better equipped to deal with the rigors of military life. We believe an Airman's personal and professional successes depend on this resiliency, and feel it is our responsibility to provide the education and resources to help them and their families build it.
INFORMATION AND REFERRAL SERVICES: The goal is to empower & connect our members and their families with available benefits and community resources in maintaining and enhancing quality of life and supporting mission readiness.

TRANSITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM: The goal of the Transition Assistance Program is to equip separating and retiring military and civilian personnel and their families with the skills and knowledge necessary for a smooth, successful transition into the private sector. The emphasis of the program is on preparation rather than job placement. TAP was congressionally mandated and introduced in 1991. The program is co-sponsored by Department of Defense, Department of Labor and Department of Veterans' Affairs.
YELLOW RIBBON PROGRAM: Our mission is to provide Service Members and their Families and Supporters with services, proactive outreach opportunities, reintegration communication skills throughout each phase of their deployment cycle. It is our vision to have the Yellow Ribbon Program provide support and communication to each member of the California Air National Guard.
KEY VOLUNTEER PROGRAM: An Official Air Force unit family readiness program designed to enhance mission readiness and resiliency and establish a sense of community. The purpose of the Key Volunteer Program is to provide a basic foundation of training, education, and resources that promotes individual, family and unit readiness and is vital to building a strong AF.

The mission of the 144 Fighter Wing Family Readiness Office is to promote family readiness, quality of life, resiliency, and the empowerment of military families through education, communication, resources, and community involvement. Our vision is to assist all components (active, reserve, guard members, retirees, and families) with services to strengthen communities, encourage self-sufficiency, enhance mission readiness, and ease adaptation. Our primary goal is to ensure readiness by supporting the needs and providing services to Guardsmen and their families before, during and after deployments and activations.
