California Air Guard Participates in RIMPAC Rescue
California Air National HH-60G Pave Hawk rescue helicopter from the 129th Rescue Wing, Moffet Field, Calif. conducts a Combat Search and Rescue(CSAR) personnel recovery mission at the Rim of the Pacific exercise in an isolated area on the island of Oahu, Hawaii on July 23, 2012. During the exercise the Pararescue Jumpers (PJs) make contact with the downed aviator, treat his immediate medical needs and transport him back to safety as the 144th Fighter Wing, Fresno, Calif. provide Rescue Combat Air Patrol (RESCAP) with their F-16 fighter jets above in the blue Hawaiian skies.
