On June 10, 2008, Colonel Chris Bricker, 144th Maintenance Group commander, 144th Fighter Wing, Colonel (retired) Jack Davidson and Rick Collins, Haley's father, present eleven year old Haley Collins with the Medal of Courage as part of the Young Hero Awards program at the 144th Fighter Wing, California Air National Guard, Fresno, California.
