144th FW flies high in Nellis’ night skies
A U.S. Air Force F-15C Eagle assigned to the 144th Fighter Wing, Fresno Air National Guard Base, Calif., prepares to takeoff at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. Feb. 1, 2016 as part of Red Flag 16-1. Red Flag is a realistic combat training exercise which allows military forces from the U.S. and its allies to train to fight and survive together. Approximately 80 aircraft are scheduled to take off from Nellis AFB twice a day: afternoon and evening for the duration of this exercise.
