144th Honorary Commander Ceremony

U.S. Air Force Maj. Jennifer Piggott, 144th Fighter Wing public affairs officer, welcomes Airmen, honorees, and their families to the wing's first Honorary Commander’s Induction Ceremony held at the Fresno Air National Guard Base, Feb. 12, 2017. Five local leaders were inducted as honorary commanders. The honorary commander program serves as the consummate avenue through which local leaders help support the base due to the close interaction with the commanders and their organizations.
