California Army National Guard Staff Sgt. Christopher Petrossian Rainville, 223rd Military Intelligence Battalion analyst, works with Cal Fire and multiple military units to collect geographic information and video to precisely map the perimeter of the LNU Lightning Complex Fire Sept. 1, 2020. The video is taken from an MQ-9 Reaper, which is a remotely piloted aircraft, that is flown out of the 163rd Attack Wing at March Air Reserve Base, Calif. The live imagery provides critical real-time data, which is used by Cal Fire to precisely identify areas of need, protect structures, and save lives.
