144 FW completes fuels storage construction project
U.S. Air National Guard Col. Christopher Clark, 144th Fighter Wing commander, cuts a ribbon to commemorate the completion of the base’s new fuel storage system Nov. 29, 2022, at the Fresno Air National Guard Base, Calif. The two-year long, $20 million project removed the underground fuel storage system and replaced then with above-ground storage containers to ensure compliance with California state law that goes into effect in 2023.
